Ceci n’est pas une pipe and this is’t a champagne bottle. Novelty is an art that Veuve Clicquot has had since the beginning. It was 1805, and the hero of this story isn’t a knight and shining armour, but yet a courageous and revolutionary widow. Madame Clicquot, starts with determination, to direct  the production house of a refined French champagne guiding its era to a new age and radical change. 


Veuve Clicquot beyond champagne 

Veuve Clicquot is more than a yellow label. It’s an inspiration, an attitude. A brand that believes in daring that anything is possible. A french maison that over the years has built a revolutionary identity. Our challenge was to expand brand awareness in Italy. A country already known for good wine, Italy shared the same passion as Veuve.


Think global, Act Local

In order to introduce Veuve Clicquot to the Italian market our creative team adapted the brand’s global content to suit Italy. Our challenge was to direct the Maison’s communication strategy to the appeal of an Italian audience. 

By doing so the  italian market could build a relationship with Veuve, while maintaining a strong brand consistency. And by creating  ad hoc content we were able to promote brand’s events 

In order to coordinate social content we used Spredfast, a tool able to monitor Facebook and Instagram analytic, which proved efficient analyzing the digital brand communication.


How to make a difference

Content is key, or better yet queen; not king. Madame Cliquot believed details make the difference.  This is the attitude that guided us: our team was able to visually translate the historical values ​​of the Champagne House through lifestyle photo shooting, still life photo production, commercial and outdoor shooting. We highlighted the details that helped consumers to recognize and remember the Maison. With always a refined and classy visual style, and a touch of yellow.


A digital experience in the real world

Working in a team makes all the difference. We developed a digital strategy by cooperating with a PR agency. The campaign goal was to design an influencer marketing campaign while managing the brand communication; including press office activities and events organization.

Veuve Clicquot gave relevance to design talents and international chefs. New Makers was an initiative signed by Veuve Clicquot. It focused on revolutionary personalities who aren’t afraid to invent and reinvent themselves like Veuve has done.

Example: Atelier Des Grandes Dames was a female network able to affirm their entrepreneurship and their professional style by overcoming the gender stereotypes of our society.

Veuve Clicquot, by overcoming the champagne sector’s boundaries, wants invigorate and become an inspiration. A digital strategy that leaves an imprint in the minds of the Italian target market was created to communicate the Maison’s events.

 We shared these events through live streaming contents, invitations, menus and other paper supports in order to make them unique and recognizable down to the smallest detail.
